Nous sommes sur le point de commémorer encore une fois le 11 novembre. Cet évènement, n'est pas seulement un jour symbolique, jour où nous nous souvenons des valeureux soldats morts pour la France. C'est aussi une célébration que français et britanniques ont en commun. C’est le jour où nous fêtons la fin de la première guerre mondiale. N’oublions pas non plus que cette guerre était la première que français et britanniques se battaient du même côté contre un ennemi commun. Seulement quelques dizaines d’années plus tôt la reine Victoria venait en France. Elle était le premier monarque anglais à visiter la France sans une armée d'invasion. Cela ne s’était pas produit depuis 1431 lors du couronnement de Henri VI.
