I recently purchased a piece of jewellery from Lizard - it was faulty within a day of purchasing it. On returning the item I was given a credit note once I explained I wanted my money back to owner of the shop he promptly told me I was unable to get any money back and a cheque would be raised and sent to me and this would happen sometime in the week. This was unacceptable to me, having to go to a bank with a cheque - wasting more time. When pressed on this the owner was very rude and unhelpful. I still have the broken jewellery, my 'credit note' and a very bad impression of 'Lizard'. Although I am not local I do have a lot of local friends and everyone has heard about how 'Lizard' have affected my statuary rights as a
consumer.
I will never go to this shop again and warn against purchasing from there
