Molière's Bourgeois Gentilhomme at the Shaw Theatre

On 5th and 6th June 2010.

One of the most acclaimed of Molière’s plays, Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme, comes to London for the second time. In this charming, frequently hilarious production of a French comic theatre classic, Monsieur Jourdain, a middle-class business man, aspires to be something he just is not!

Modern Masters: Matisse, Picasso, Dali and Warhol at the V&A

Until 23rd June.

Prints by four of the 20th century's greatest artists: Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol. Over 50 works drawn from the V&A Museum's collections.

The French Institute launches Culturetech

Launched on 27th May

You may have always wished you lived in London and you could get access to the French Institute's library or cinematech or you may have wished you could practice your French and find out more about French culture. Well be aware that from 27 May 2010, your wish will have come true. The Institut français du Royaume-Uni launches Culturethèque, its new digital platform.

From 17 May 2010 to 3 June 2010 - Sung in French with English subtitles. Laurent Pelly's production returns, with Bruno Campanella conducting Donizetti's comedy. Note that Dawn French has the part of La Duchesse of Crackentorp.
