Story: This film was nominated "Best Foreign Language Film" at the 1952s oscars and awarded the Golden Lion at Venice. This is an amazing study on the innocence of the childhood played by Brigitte Fossey and Georges Poujouly.Paulette and Michel try to cope with the traumas of the nazi occupation by building a cemetery for animals which they santicfy with totems taken from the neighbouring graveyard.
