Wine tasting at the French Institute
You want to shine in front of your friends and colleagues with your knowledege of different wines? No need to make a tour de France and visit every single wine cellar on the way. Simply go to the different wine tasting sessions organised by the French Institute.
The organizers want these sessions to be as informative as possible. In one session, you will taste six specially selected wines with an accompaniment of delicious cheeses. The Regular Sessions are conceived as an introduction to an area, such as Bordeaux, Burgundy or the South of France, while Special Tastings are more specialised and focus on cépages and types of wine.
Each session starts at 7.00pm, lasts about 2 hours and takes place in the Institut's wood panelled library. Allow £29 for a regular session, and £36 for a special tastings. You get a discount if you are a member of the French Institute.
