The French singer Camille has definitly conquered the UK with her last album Music Hole, unanimously acclaimed by the media. She attributes much of her music on this latest album to her
fans and stated: "Concerts gave me the strength to let it out and to conceive a more joyful album."
This third studio album shows a key turning point in her career: it
consists mostly of English lyrics. Accessible and mellifluous, yet
boldly experimental, Camille's new collaboration with percussion
masters of the Brazilian band Barbatuques, Jamie Cullum on piano
percussions and on beatboxing Sly Johnson “Da Beatboxologist” (from
Saian Supa Crew), is a great achievement: a cross section of genres such as folk minimalism, French song, body percussions and gospel!
Hailed for her live performances as well as for her outstanding voice, she has performed over 200 shows around the world, The French Pop singer, Camille, will be back at London’s Roundhouse on October 19th.
