Best French Restaurants Open On Christmas Day
Bar Boulud at The Mandarin Oriental
Daniel Boulud is renowned for his soulful interpretation of traditional French cuisine recently gaining three Michelin stars in his New York restaurant. The essence of Bar Boulud London’s menu is authentic French charcuterie served alongside seasonal bistro cooking.
House made terrines, pâtés, hams and saucissons are produced under the guidance of Gilles Verot, one of France’s finest charcutiers. The menu includes traditional dishes such as coq au vin and moules, while the cellar is dedicated to Daniel Boulud’s native city of Lyon and its surrounding wine making regions, Burgundy and the Rhône Valley.
This smart Knightsbridge restaurant has a menu of French Christmas classics. For £55 you can indulge in a three-course set menu.
Private dining rooms are available for up to 16 guests. There is still a few tables left for dinner !

Koffman's
Koffmann's is the highly anticipated next step from legendary French chef Pierre Koffmann, whose name has for 35 years been synonymous with some of the finest French food in the country.
Ambience
Assured, attentive service from manager Eric Garnier and his team creates an atmosphere of convivial bonhomie. The restaurant attracts both local customers who may visit several times a week and culinary pilgrims visiting one of the grand masters of cooking.
Cuisine
The menu offers hearty, robust, seasonal food, influenced by Pierre’s Gascon heritage. On Christmas day, lunch is sold out, but there are still places for dinner at £95 per head. The four-course menu lists all the classic dishes of a French Christmas : foie gras, roast turkey with chesnut stuffing and a traditional Christmas log.
