Nice:

Pay £132 return to fly out to one of the most beautiful towns of the French Riviera. In less than two hours you can find yourself in this famous place of leisure and fun. With so many things to do and so much sun to take in you will hardly get bored. Join the beautiful, cultured and tanned strolling down the Promenade des Anglais during the day, wander around the old port, go shopping at the Marche aux fleurs (it runs every day of the week and sells all the best produce of the area): indulge in French life at its best. The many immigrants that have settled here have contributed greatly to the thriving cultural feel of the place, be it in the wide array of restaurants serving up everything from local traditional dishes to other delicacies from around the world or the exciting and busy night scene.

Nice is clearly not just a seaside resort. If lounging on the beach is not your idea of fun there are seven museums to choose from (including the Musee Matisse) and the surrounding region offers plenty of opportunity for other activities such as visiting Roman ruins, kayaking, horse riding, or even taking a short train ride into nearby Italy on San Remo and Ventimillia’s market days.

There is fun for families, couples and single travellers to be had here so fly out now and make the most of it!

Geneva:

Fly for £ 94 pounds return to the Global city of Geneva. If you have only ever thought of it as a stop off or a business man’s haven perhaps it is time you took a closer look. It has, after all, been a sanctuary for those who fled religious and political persecution, and the birthplace of men who shaped the world such as the Protestant reformer John Calvin and the social philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau.

There is no end to the sites worth seeing which include Calvin’s own church St Pierre’s Cathedral, The Reformation Wall and the Flower Clock, and more recent additions such as the Palais des Nations which serves as the European headquarters of the United Nations. The city’s outstanding preservation of all its architectural heritage even resulted in Geneva being awarded the Wakker Prize in 2000.

The choice does not end here, if art is your passion, make the most of the fourty private and public museums and art galleries, you can even spend a night out at the world famous Cabaret Voltaire where the Dada movement was first formed.

Whatever experience you are looking for, it is possible to find it in this thriving and modern city, be it in the beautiful “vieille ville” or the newer and busier centre.

Hurry and you might make it in time to catch one of the many festivals occurring this year.

Zurich:

Fly out for £105 return to Switzerland’s largest city. Though Bern is the country’s political capital, Zurich is undoubtedly its commercial and cultural centre and is widely considered to be one of the world’s global cities. The stereotype of watches, banks and cuckoo clocks is certainly to be found here but this is only the beginning of what the city has to offer.

To say that there are twelve different museums, as well as twenty other recommended sights to visit is only scratching the surface. The Kunsthaus museum is one of the collections of Classic Modern Art in the world with paintings by the likes of Picasso, Braque and Giacometti to be found here, and comes highly recommended to all art fanatics. Or perhaps history is more to your liking in which case you will be spoilt for choice with the number of medieval castles, Cathedrals and museums such as the Swiss National Museum.

In the Evening take some time to enjoy a show at Zurcher Opernhaus: one of the most famous opera houses in Europe, or if contemporary music seems more to your liking then wander over to Zurich’s old town. Zurich is, after all, one of the capitals of Europe’s electronic music scene as well as being the host city of the world-famous Street-Parade and there are hundreds of places to pick from to test out its reputation for yourself. If you want an all-round musical experience then head straight for the X-tra Palais, the only club in Zurich with its own hotel, restaurant, lounge and music-label! If the music scene still doesn’t provide enough excitement then you could even find yourself drifting into the city’s famous red light district for a taste of something that definitely isn’t English!

Book now and you could get here in time for the Gay May festival and the Red Bull Jungfrau Stafette!
